Le début s'achève / The beginning ends

Time goes by fast and slowly at the same time. Days are so intense in emotions, discoveries, encounters… I think that I will have to use for the first time my favorite expression; this trip to Iceland was a real “boiling point of the senses”!

My work at the farm was different everyday from fixing the floor of the sheep-house to repairing the fences, from cooking to feeding the chicken… And of course, going on a ride on those very endurant Icelandic horses to discover the legendary nature of Iceland!

I was lucky to visit the capital on a very bright day! (this is not said here in Iceland). Reykjavik has nothing of a big grey city with tall buildings since it is situated near the ocean. It is also very green!

It is by a last time with the Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matarà that I will end my journey in Iceland, first stop of this big adventure all around the world and… in our heart!

The spirit of this trip is really to let myself go by Providence. I could experience it 2 days ago when I did not know how to travel from one end of the island to the other, without having to pay a very expensive plane or bus ticket. So the farmers helped each other and I find someone who can bring me to Reykjavik for free, offers me to sleep on her couch (we arrived at 1:30 at night) and to lead me around the city. This is how we live life as it comes, each day… a big learning (not without any moments of stress)!

Bienvenue à bord de ce voyage !!!
Welcome aboard !!!
